The IHTA recognized from the very beginning, that many of the issues the portable hot tub industry faces tend to be worldwide. It was the feeling of our founders that including our industry members around the world was very important to the industry’s long term growth and success. For the last two years, the IHTA was invited to and has exhibited at the Piscine Pool and Spa show in Lyon, France. At this show, key relationships have been made to start the process in the future to have benefits such as safety and standards development. The IHTA plans on expanding their participation to other parts of the world such as Spain and Great Britain.
