The IHTA was incorporated in October of 2007 by a group of spa manufacturers who had the vision and the passion to form an organization that was solely dedicated to the portable hot tub industry.For years the hot tub industry had discussed such an organization because of the many product differences between a swimming pool, in-ground spa and a portable hot tub.The organization was represented at the 2008 Piscine Pool & Spa Show in Lyon, France which cultivated several international key contacts for the future.The IHTA’s current focus is on the USA market and building a strong membership base. The current goal is to reach 100 members this year.
